In reply to Seashell. As a US citizen I could not disagree more. Those were drug boats shipping tons of narcotics to the streets of the US. Maduro was rightfully arrested for his roll in shipping that poison to the US. The prior administration actually increased the multimillion dollar reward for his arrest. The is exactly how our Republic is supposed to operate. The democratically elected president ran on a platform which included protecting the American public from the ills of the narco trade. That’s exactly what is happening. This obviously was not a “shot from the hip” plan. When will people be able to recognize good things done, even if they disagree with the individuals most of the time? It’s absolutely hilarious that people are siding with a known narcoterrorist dictator. Actually it’s shameful.

As a US citizen, IMO, the US should have NEVER blown up ships, arrested Maduro, nor be involved in the transitioning of Venezuela, without an act of Congress. This is NOT how our democracy is supposed to operate in the US. I suspect there are ulterior motives & not necessarily for the good of Venezuelans nor US citizens & I’m not alone in my thinking. There’s an awful lot of greed & power driving & consuming energy in the world today. Unfortunately it’s being driven by power & money hungry, immature, self serving, unstable, juveniles, who “shoot from the hip” without a complete plan or afterthought & without regard for their own people.
