Two of the animals from Quinta Pedagógica dos Prazeres, namely the donkey and the llama, will remain, provisionally, at the facilities of the Madeira Zootechnical Station, in the municipality of Porto Moniz, while renovation work on the farm takes place.
“All the logistics of transporting and monitoring the animals were monitored by veterinarians from the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Environment”, explains the guardianship, in a statement.
The remodeling work on that space, in the parish of Prazeres, stems from the fact that it was one of the winning projects in the regional Participatory Budget.
