Before we talk about this Nativity scene, if you have the time, go to the church in Boa Nova Funchal, they have a great nativity set inside, with a huge cloud over the scene, that produces thunder, lightning and rain every 10 minutes or so, it’s really beautiful.

The Parish Hall of Curral dos Romeiros, in the parish of Monte, hosts the parish’s nativity scene, which is possible to visit from Christmas Day until January 15th. The space is open every day from 3pm to 8pm.
According to a note sent to DIÁRIO, it is possible to schedule a group visit, which can be carried out at a different time, by prior appointment. Entry is free.
