Madeira has just won gold for the second year running for World’s Leading Island Destination.

The Award ceremony for those who are considered the “Oscars of Tourism” is under way in the Maldives, where the Madeira Tourism is represented by the Regional Director of Tourism, Katia Carvalho.
Regional Director to present at the ceremony, was keen to stress and dedicate this award to all the people of Madeira: “This is a recognition to Madeira, for its people and for all those who in this sector contribute to notoriety states, daily and at various levels. “
