Funchal this year has gone back to the more traditional decorations for the festive lights.
Everywhere you walk there are decorations, lights and trees. Having been round the island a lot in the last couple of weeks I have noticed more and more lights and decorations in the smaller villages. It really looks like a spectacular year for Madeira.
