We visited Porto Santo, early October, arriving by ferry. We enjoyed the sunny weather, the warm hospitality and the various natural sites. We walked PR1, which saved its best views till the end. We enjoyed the beach at Ponta da Calheta, which stunned us with a spectacular sunset.
