  1. We brought back to England a huge jar of Madeira honey (in the car) via the sorely missed car ferry.
    The people who tasted it voted the best ever.
    The bees collected their pollen near Ponta do Pargo.
    A beekeeper friend was most impressed and has vowed to visit the island and examine the various sources of pollen available to the local bees.
    Honey poured into the hollow left by the stone in a smooth skinned avocado half, is the best "afters" ever.

  2. Yes very nice Martin, I was lucky to get to large jars for the price of one a few months back, but its nearly all gone, but was a nice Poncha… 🙂
