  5. we are staying on the island, 7th-8th may. Do you need tickets for the car show and would you know how much they are?

    1. Hi liz this is from 2014. You are actually here for the flower festival, one of Madeira’s biggest events, you don’t need tickets unless you want to be seated to watch it.

    That is so good of you to reply. Think I’m on the wrong website, but we are hoping to go out from the 4th – 8th May and excluded a visit to the car show. When ans where is the flower show could be well worth a visit.

  7. Hi Tobi, sorry to bother you again. The travel agent seems to think we will need tickets to see the car show. From the picture and what you mentioned it looks like a walk around event in a closed off street, but open to the public. Is this right?

    1. Yes that’s right, you can stand and watch it or you can buy tickets to sit but you would need to ask the hotel about tickets
