There was a shooting at Rua das Hortas, in Funchal.
As far as it was possible to ascertain for now, there is one dead person and a seriously injured as a result of the shooting that took place at dawn this Saturday.
Allegedly, the author of the shots is at large.
The situation occurred in a restaurant on Rua das Hortas, in a contempt that involved three individuals.
Upon leaving the restaurant, the alleged sniper fired at two men, hitting one on the head and one on the lower limbs. The first died immediately and the second was rescued on the spot and transported to the hospital.
BIR, Judicial Police, PSP, Emir, Madeiran Voluntary Firefighters and Portuguese Red Cross were called to the scene.
The street in question was closed, and a security perimeter was created at the crime scene, which is being investigated by the PJ.
