According to the head of the IPMA in Madeira, Victor Prior, between 23 and 26 December, there will be periods of some rain and wind, which may be strong in Funchal. At the end of the year, the temperature may drop., as the wind turns Northerly.
The Director of the Meteorological Observatory of Funchal explains that the rain will be felt more intensely in mountainous areas of the region.
The temperature is expected to remain mild during Christmas, despite the rain and wind, but in the New Year it may drop.
