‘Henrique Costa & Filhos’, the company responsible for the end-of-year show right at night, is currently doing the last assembly of the pyrotechnic material, in different parts of the city.
It is recalled that this year, there will be 57 fire launching posts in Funchal (plus 2 in Porto Santo)
The novelty in relation to the latest pyrotechnic shows is the installation of 25 onshore and offshore stations on Funchal’s waterfront, which will be placed between Pier 8 of the port of Funchal, up to the pontoons of Praia do Almirante Reis.
In addition, the installation of five posts at sea continues, with launches in the bay of Funchal, behind the Pontinha jetty, and in front of Lazareto. In Porto Santo, the two fireworks launch posts will be placed on the Portela site and on the pier.
The event that welcomes 2021 in the Region will have an expected duration of eight minutes of pyrotechnic art.
