New Year Joy for this lucky dog.
Did you ever wonder if dogs can smile?!…. Bolota was living in the Sao Vicente animal shelter for three years, abandoned in the village as a puppy, never experiencing the kind of love and attention we at Friends of 4 Patinhas knew he needed and desired….. for many months, his picture was posted on our Facebook adoptions page….. then, a miracle occured….. a similar organization in Germany contacted us….. they had a family with three children living in the Tyrol looking for a young border collie mix… after weeks of negotiations, endless paperwork and travel arrangements, he flew to Germany last week…. right into the arms of three children and two loving parents…. This picture is their Christmas card, proof dogs can smile…. if given the chance!
