There are 230 cases of active covid-19 in Madeira today, of which 44 are imported identified in the context of surveillance activities implemented at Madeira Airport and 186 are cases of local transmission. Regarding the residence of active cases, 30 are non-residents and 200 are residents of RAM. There have been a total of 869 active cases since the pandemic began.
Regarding the active surveillance of positive case contacts, 1284 people are being accompanied by the health authorities of the various municipalities of Madeira and Porto Santo.
Regarding the surveillance of travelers, 7164 people are also being accompanied by the authorities, using the MadeiraSafe application.
