Today Madeira records 131 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, according to the Regional Health Directorate.
According to the daily bulletin, there are three imported cases – two from the United Kingdom and one from South Africa – and 128 cases of local transmission, most of which are already associated with contacts or contexts of positive cases.
There are 112 more recovered cases to report, bringing the total to 2,889 since the beginning of the pandemic.
1971 are now the active cases in the Region.
