Today Madeira counts 79 new cases of Covid-19, informs the Regional Health Directorate, stating that it is an imported case from Poland and 78 cases of local transmission, most of which are already associated with positive case contacts. Epidemiological investigations are still ongoing.
According to the epidemiological bulletin of registering that today there are 106 more recovered cases to report, so the region now counts 4,919 cases recovered from Covid-19.
Regarding the total number of deaths associated with Covid-19, 62 remained.
With regard to active cases, the number is 1,568, of which 33 are imported cases and 1,535 are locally transmitted.
