A moment ago a landslide occurred in the Fajã dos Cardos area, in Curral das Freiras, which ended up affecting three vehicles.
The Volunteer Firefighters of Câmara de Lobos were called to the scene, mobilizing a vehicle with three members.
The Regional Municipal Civil Protection Service was called to clear the road, as well as the Madeira Electricity Company picket line, due to the existence of electricity cables. A machine from a construction site was mobilized to clean the road.
There will be more incidents like this, along with flooded roads, and trees down.
