The road between the Viveiros area and Rua 5 de Outubro, in Funchal, is currently closed, due to the risk of landslides.
According to JM, the instability of the cliff has already caused several rocks to fall onto the road.
PSP and a team from the Sapadores do Funchal Fire Department are on site.
