Filipe Sousa accuses Pedro Ramos of using Health in exchange for votes in Albuquerque

Corruption in health, from Albuquerques foot man Pedro Ramos. Two disgusting parasites on this island, that are always seen together.

The president of Santa Cruz City Council, Filipe Sousa, today denounced a situation that “harms all Madeirans” and which he calls “a total scandal”.

The mayor says, in his usual ‘Point of Order’, that he received a recording of a telephone call made during the campaign for the PSD’s internal elections, in which the Secretary of Health, Pedro Ramos, “called a militant, appealing to vote for Miguel Albuquerque”. “Up until now, the fact would not be correct in itself, but the way in which the call ends is proof of a total lack of shame, impunity and lack of ethics”, writes Filipe Sousa, who says that Pedro Ramos called the call saying: “this is my number too, so you can use it whenever you need your health.”

“So, in one fell swoop, we realised that Health in Madeira, where waiting lists proliferate, is accessible and has a private green lane for PSD activists and for those who have the secretary’s telephone number”, exposes the mayor, who says that health in Madeira “is a bargaining chip for partisan purposes”, that “those who govern us use health as their own thing, for their own political purposes and to maintain a Government that is rotten at its foundations, miserable in its way of acting, and criminal when it comes to the duty of serving all Madeirans and not just the militants with an orange card and voting for the leader that interests those who are strangled to maintain power, so that they can also maintain themselves.”

Filipe Sousa emphasises, in the same text, released this Sunday, that “all Madeirans must remember this telephone call, which is circulating and risks going viral.” “I won’t forget her, especially because this Mr. Pedro Ramos was the same man who accused us, on several occasions, of having an aid program for minor surgeries that only serves friends. Nothing more false, but now it is clear that the Secretary of Health judges others by what he himself is capable of doing and does”, he adds.

Furthermore, Santa Cruz will continue with the aforementioned health program, informing that, last week, “more than 46 thousand euros in support for 13 residents were approved within the scope of the Support Program for the Performance of Minor Surgeries.”
