The Savoy Palace hotel, from Savoy Signature, won the title of ‘Europe’s Leading Luxury Hotel 2024’, at the World Travel Awards (WTA), the organization announced at the gala ceremony in Berlin, during the fair dedicated to the tourism industry entitled ITB. The hotel unit was also highlighted among national hotels as ‘Portugal Leading Luxury Hotel 2024’.
Roberto Santa Clara, CEO of Savoy Signature, said that the Savoy Palace team “is very happy to have won the awards for the best luxury hotel in Portugal and Europe”, adding that this is “a notable milestone for both Savoy Palace , as for Savoy Signature and we are sure that also for the Madeira destination”.

The distinctions reflect Savoy Palace’s commitment to “excellence and quality of service”, as well as reinforcing the hotel’s position as one of the “most sought after by discerning travelers seeking a true luxury experience”, says a note sent.
The award-winning hotel had already been distinguished as ‘Portugal’s Leading Luxury Hotel’ in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Saccharum, belonging to Savoy Signature, was also elected ‘Europe’s Leading Island Resort’ in 2021 and 2023.
