Madeira today registered 62 new positive cases of Covid-19, so RAM now counts 6861 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the regional territory. According to information provided by the Regional Health Directorate, these are 62 cases of local transmission, most of which are already associated with positive case contacts. Epidemiological investigations are still ongoing.
Today there are also 62 more recovered cases to report. The Region now accounts for 5287 cases recovered from Covid-19, leaving the island with 1511 active cases.
To date, the Region accounts for a total of 63 deaths associated with Covid-19.
