Formosa beach, in Funchal, is covered in debris from the bad weather, which has not yet been cleaned up.
Although the weather is not conducive to swimming, it is possible to see in the photographs taken by ASPRESS photographer Rui Silva that the beach is restricted.
This happened due to warnings of strong sea waves earlier this week.
