EasyJet and the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture of the Regional Government of Madeira will organize a press conference on April 13th at the Quinta Magnólia auditorium in Funchal, aimed at presenting the airline’s activities in the Region and reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to the archipelago.
In a statement, easyJet highlights that it is currently the airline with the most active flights to Madeira, with more than a dozen active routes to and from Madeira and Porto Santo.
The event will feature the participation of Eduardo Jesus, Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, and José Lopes, General Manager of easyJet in Portugal.
The conference will begin at 3 pm with the reception of journalists and guests, followed by a welcome address and a presentation by Eduardo Jesus on the Regional Government’s vision for the sector.
At 3:35 PM, José Lopes will give a presentation on easyJet’s activities in Madeira, highlighting the company’s evolution since the start of operations in the region in 2007.
The session also includes a question and answer period at 4 pm, before closing at 4:30 pm.
