Sunday 26th January see the annual Festa Panelo in Chão da Ribeira.
This festival happens on the last Sunday of January, and huge pots are filled with cabbage, potatoe, pork and sausages to make a large stew, It was served on the floor on cabbage leaves, but these days plates and cutlery are used.
