A yellow weather warning has been issued for Madeira from midday Saturday, through to 20.00 Sunday.
The warning is for the whole Island, and mountain areas, where high temperatures will be persistent, and could reach 30 degrees.
The hot weather is due to a mass of tropical air from Africa heading towards the island.
Precaution is needed for yourself, with the use of sun creams, hats and drink plenty of water, and also to the forest areas, as they will be at high risk for fires.
