This morning at 8am police and Port authorities moved into the Beatles Yacht to remove anything worth money. The owner has not paid rent for over a year , and the place in my opinion has been going down hill for years.
The area will be cleared to make way for the landscaping of the area and it is not yet known what will happen to the Yacht. It was suggested to sink it by the Yacht bar to create a reef for divers, but with all the work now going on this will not be possible.

The sad news about this is, all the staff that have worked unpaid and no holiday or Christmas pay , and had all their belongings still in lockers in the restaurant.
