Time to Party hard as the 2nd year running the I Love Poncha festival begins today and carries on through the weekend, celebrating this popular drink with all the local bars in the area.

The underwater Festival has been going on all week and finishes tomorrow Saturday 8th June with a stand up Paddle race from Galo lido to the beach or Garajau.
This will be the first Stand up paddle race in Madeira which they are calling 1 SUP Board Race.
I have seen the athletes practising from my balcony over the last few days, I hope the sea stays calm and should be a great day for all involved.
