I have found these 3 videos of Skateboarder Jorge Pernes, and the long-board skating community.
Looks pretty frightening to me, and a bit stomach churning in places, but shows how extreme sports are really coming alive in Madeira for the younger travelers. In the 3rd video he introduces some other extreme sports on the island.
