An eight-year-old child was placed in isolation at Dr. Nélio Mendonça hospital, for setting up a suspected case of coronavirus.
The child was recently admitted to Hospital Santa Maria and was admitted to the Madeiran hospital unit this morning.
All necessary steps were taken by the regional medical services.
