On the 25th day without new cases, Madeira registered a new person infected with Covid-19, according to JM.
There are now 91 cases already detected on Madeiran soil, although 76, according to data presented yesterday by IASAÚDE, have already been confirmed as recovered.
It should be stressed, however, that this new positive case did not establish direct contact with anyone in the Region. This is because he arrived in Madeira with a laboratory test with an inconclusive result, having been immediately forwarded to the Dom Pedro hotel, in Machico.
After having a new test, he ended up showing a positive result for Covid-19, being now in quarantine in that hotel.
