The IPMA has just raised the meteorological warning for precipitation by issuing an orange warning for heavy rain across the whole island of Madeira between 3 am and 9 am this Tuesday, an alert reinforced with a yellow warning for the wind that may register gusts of up to 100km/h in mountainous regions, between 6am and 9am tomorrow.
As the Diario had already reported in the last hour, the forecast models point to the worsening of the meteorological conditions that motivate meteorological warnings (yellow and orange) between midnight today and midday tomorrow
