The President of the Regional Government announced this morning that Madeira will have the firefighting helicopter all year, starting next summer.
Miguel Albuquerque, who was speaking during a visit to the cable car rescue training center, located in the Civil Protection of Madeira, added that with these climate changes, it is important to provide the Region with this means all year round.
In the next budget, funds will be provided to proceed with this measure.
