The Christmas Market at Placa Central on Avenida Arriaga and the Ethnographic Village at Largo da Restauração will be open this year between December 10 and January 10, between 10 am and 8 pm, closed on December 25 and January 1.
Informal street stores, namely Christmas stalls and pavilions, usually installed, either in Placa Central and Praça do Povo in Funchal, or in other municipalities, will not be able to sell alcoholic beverages, being obliged to comply with the guidelines of the Health Authority. The spaces that sell food and drink can only do so in the take away mode.
