Today there are 14 new positive cases to report. These are 5 imported cases (2 from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region, 1 from France, 1 from Poland and 1 from Luxembourg) and 9 cases of local transmission, mostly associated with previously identified positive case contexts and contacts . The contacts of 1 of the cases are still under investigation.
There are still 9 more cases of recovered patients.
There are also 116 new situations being studied by the health authorities, four from the Madeira airport screening operation and 112 related to contacts with positive cases, situations reported to the SRS24 line or by SESARAM, EPERAM.
