Today, there are 24 new positive cases of covid-19 in Madeira, of which 20 are locally transmitted and four are imported. The data ends up being released by the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection.
The imported cases concern individuals who came from Spain, Poland, Lisbon Region and Tagus Valley and Northern Portugal.
Madeira now counts 1,021 confirmed cases in the regional territory.
About the cases confirmed today, there are two cases in the area of education, in the case of 2 children aged between 3 and 4 years who attend educational establishments in the municipalities of Machico and Funchal. The contingency plan of these establishments is already active
A case in the social area, in the case of 1 user of a community institution of a social nature in the municipality of Funchal. The respective institution’s contingency plan is active.
Today there are 15 more recovered cases to report. The region now counts 744 cases recovered from COVID-19.
