A patient who is admitted to the Hospital dos Marmeleiros will have tested positive for covid-19, according to the Diário through a hospital source.
The patient, who went to the emergency department, will have been close to other patients, as well as health professionals, causing a lot of apprehension in the hospital.
According to the reports made to the Diario, the closing of a floor is even being considered.
It is recalled that yesterday, the Regional Health Directorate revealed that there were 11 more cases of covid-19, four imported from Russia (two), the United Kingdom (one) and Venezuela (one), with the remaining seven cases being local transmission , all associated with positive case contacts previously identified.
