FIRST VACCINES SHOULD ARRIVE IN MADEIRA BETWEEN TOMORROW AND AFTER, SAYS ALBUQUERQUE

There is still no day or time for the arrival of the first vaccines against covid-19 in Madeira, but everything indicates that it should happen between tomorrow or the day after.

Six hours later, they will be ready to be administered. “It is Pfizer who decides”, just stated the President of the Government, Miguel Albuquerque, on a visit to the new access to the expressway, intended only for EMIR and located in Pinheiro Grande, next to Cancela.

Although the government does not know the exact date of the arrival of the first vaccines in the Region, JM knows, as we reported this Monday in the print edition, that the transport of the first batch of vaccines to Madeira, provided by TAP Air Cargo, on a trip between Amsterdam and Lisbon, it takes place on the last flight of the 30th, then on to the islands, where they will arrive at the beginning of the morning of the 31st.
