London homicide victim was a native of São Martinho

The woman who was murdered in London by her ex-partner with 30 blows from a bladed weapon is a natural emigrant from the parish of São Martinho, in Funchal.

The mortal victim was around 30 years old, had been emigrated to England for three years and had been a mother for only four months.

As Diário Notícias advanced first hand, the ex-boyfriend, a man in his 30s, born in the municipality of Santa Cruz, will have delivered 30 stab wounds that proved fatal to the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crime took place in a house in Croydon, south London, last weekend. According to what we learned, the emigrant also had some injuries, having been transported to the local hospital, where he still remains hospitalized, but free from danger.
