The appearance of new cases of covid-19 among employees of the Environment Department of the Funchal City Council, in the last days, led to the testing of the remaining team of urban cleaning and garbage removal personnel.
To JM, the Funchal City Council confirmed the existence of “three cases of covid-19 among municipal employees”, adding that the three cases have a personal or family relationship with each other. “As a result of these cases, 18 other CMF workers are currently in prophylactic isolation.”
“Regarding the tests and the subsequent return to work, all IASaúde indications are being fulfilled. Seven of these workers will resume their duties next Monday, according to IASaúde ”.
