This Tuesday, with the traditional ‘baptism’, the first Wizz Air plane to land in Madeira, from Luton, England, was received on what was the debut of the low cost airline in connection with the region.
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, already operated in the Portuguese cities of Lisbon, Porto and Faro, having now expanded its operation to Madeira. The company will fly twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
