Snow in the mountains, and Curfew

In downtown Funchal, the curfew was fulfilled. A few minutes past 6 pm, only a few buses were transporting the last passengers home and taxi drivers were waiting for potential customers.

Ten minutes before 6 pm, there was still some movement near Ponta Nova and access to the expressway in the east of the island.

In the highlands, snow trips generated some traffic jam, with many people taking advantage of the last hours before the curfew to register the presence of snow in the mountains of Madeira.
