Today, two men (84 and 89 years old) with Covid-19 died at the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
“The two patients were admitted to the Multipurpose Unit of COVID-19 and had associated comorbidities,” the Regional Health Secretariat (SRS) said.
To date, the Region accounts for a total of 29 deaths associated with the disease.
“To the bereaved families, we offer heartfelt condolences,” adds the note sent by SRS.
