A corpse of a man, presumed to be that of a person who had been missing for about two months, was found yesterday by the National Republican Guard, in Fajã dos Padres, in an operation coordinated by the Judiciary Police.
The body was in a high state of decomposition.
The remains were collected and transported to the Legal Medical Office of Funchal to be analyzed in order to identify the person in question.
