COVID-19: NINE CASES IN SCHOOLS IN THE REGION LEAVE 139 STUDENTS IN CONFINEMENT

This Monday, schools in the Region registered nine new cases of Covid-19.

“Positive cases were registered in nine children / students, which resulted in the confinement of seven rooms / classes, in a total of 139 children / students, two teachers and two non-teachers”, can be read in the update made by the Regional Government.

The Regional Secretariat of Education also informs that five rooms / classes returned to the classroom regime, with a total of 87 children / students and three educators / teachers.

“Due to contacts by three children and two students with positive cases, outside the school context, three classrooms and two classes were confined, in a total of 86 children / students, seven teachers and three non-teachers”,
