According to SIC Notícias, the visit of the President of the Republic to Madeira planned for today has been postponed.
According to a source from the Presidency of the Republic, “the wind conditions foreseen in Madeira, forced the postponement of the trip to Madeira, and the trip to the Azores was also postponed”.
“The two visits will be scheduled in due course,” added the same source.
It is recalled that Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa was going to travel this Friday to Madeira and the Azores to meet with representatives of the Republic, presidents of governments and regional parliaments.
