The Garganta Funda (Deep Throat) is a waterfall with 140 meters height located on the site of Pedregal , Ponta do Pargo .
Following the regional road between Ponta do Pargo and Achadas da Cruz , you will see some signs that will guide you where to go.
There is no official parking at the end of the road. Try to park in a way that does not disturb other possible drivers. Park your car here: N 32º49.154 / W 17º14.824As this is a short walk, try to do it calmly, making the most of the panoramic views over the serene village and farmland. The last few meters require some caution, as the path is a little slippery and there are no safety barriers. There is a protected viewpoint to see the waterfall.If you wish to continue the circular route, you will have the opportunity to contemplate the jagged coastline, the lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean.
