A student at Escola Secundária Francisco Franco tested positive for covid-19 today, following a total of 2,446 rapid antigen tests carried out on students in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, this Monday, April 5th.
According to the updated information on the website of the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, “this student will be subjected to a second test and will start prophylactic isolation”.
According to the same source, 2,095 students from Francisco Franco’s Secondary School were tested today (one of which was positive).
The remaining 351 tested students, from the Basic and Secondary School Professor Dr. Francisco de Freitas Branco (Porto Santo), gave a negative result.
1,232 vaccines were also administered to teachers and non-teachers.
