The pastor of the two parishes in Porto Santo, Hugo Gomes, used social media to announce that he cannot celebrate Mass this Christmas. Without giving details, the priest explains that the Igreja da Piedade will be open to receive the faithful and launches an appeal: “When they are around the table, thank God for the gift of the family and pray for me too.”
