The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow warning for Madeira and Porto Santo due to the forecast of heavy rain.
The notice is valid between 9 pm today and 3 am this Thursday and covers the South Coast, North Coast and mountainous regions.
