This afternoon, the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters were activated to fight a rekindling of a fire in the Palheiro Village urbanization.
The fire in the bush near houses broke out yesterday, after the New Year’s Eve fireworks show. This afternoon, the relight was quickly controlled by a team of 5 operationals and a heavy fire-fighting vehicle.
