A work accident, which occurred this afternoon next to an old quarry, below Pico Alto, in Funchal, caused the death of a man, whose age could not be determined.
According to DIÁRIO, the worker was doing forest cleaning work and was hit by a tree.
The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters are on site.
